Trust in God’s Plan for your life

Life is not always easy and can sometimes leave you with a sense of uncertainty. If you think about it, nothing is ever certain. Your whole life can change for the good or bad in a matter of seconds. Although many of us have a “plan” we intend to follow, typically it does not go exactly how we originally thought.

In those times of uncertainty, is where you need put your trust in God the most. The unknown can bring on a sense of insecurity and fear for many, including myself, but it doesn’t have to be. Instead of looking at the unknown as something to fear, look at all of the endless possibilities that could come from it.

God gave you life. A life where you can do anything that you set your mind to and if you are reading this thinking “yeah right,” I am going to stop you right there. In order to achieve a life of true, genuine happiness, you have to have faith.

I have spent many days in a state of worry about what my next move will be. Do I continue pursuing my dream job even though I am not able to financially support myself with it yet? Am I messing up and should get a more stable job? Or do I should say screw everything and travel the world for a bit because I know there will always be a way to make money and save for the future.

We don’t always know what our life has in store for us and we aren’t supposed to always know. When you are in this state of the unknown, I have found comfort when I tell God that I am giving all my stress up to Him. I am just going to keep working at it and if things are supposed to end how I would like then it will, otherwise I know God has something even better in store for me.

Trusting in God is not always easy and we all have doubts sometimes. It is just part of being a human. No matter where life takes you, through all the worries and doubt, God already has a plan for you. Think about it this way, God is the driver and you are the passenger. You may not always know exactly where you are or your next destination, but this is where you have to just sit back and go along for the ride.
